Gong Myung Lee brings 15+ years of VFX experience across film, television, and advertising. Since joining Method in 2016, she has supervised VFX for episodes of Marvel’s “The Defenders,” Baz Luhrmann's “The Get Down,” and “Top Boy,” as well as features including “The Purge.”
With a background rooted in visual storytelling, she's helmed creative for projects including 26 elegantly creepy promos teasing FX’s “American Horror Story,” and character-driven holiday commercials for Target.
Prior to Method, Myung was VFX Supervisor/Head of CG at Mr. X Gotham and held various creative supervision roles at The Mill and Charlex. Her feature credits also include “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” “Zoolander 2” and “Pompeii,” and TV series including “Vikings,” “Narcos” and “Marco Polo.”
While an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts, Myung taught lighting and compositing. She holds degrees in Political Science, International Economics and Computer Science.
