The adventures of Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket continue, as they unravel the mystery of Peter’s true parentage. Method created hero characters Rocket and Baby Groot for key sequences, and handled a broad scope of work including large-scale destruction and spaceship crashes, full CG animation and environment design, and for the final sequence, creating a Ravager fleet, fireworks and holographic lasers integrated with live action plates, and a close-up of Rocket shedding a tear. Method also worked on the full CG sequence in which Rocket attempts to instruct Baby Groot to detonate a bomb and Milano’s crash landing onto Berhart.
