Larry David stars in “Don’t Miss Out” -- a hilarious advertisement for the FTX app from agency Dentsu McGarry Bowen and directed by David’s long-term Curb Your Enthusiasm collaborator Jeff Schaffer. The spot perfectly captures David’s curmudgeonly attitude as we follow many different historical versions of his TV persona as they contemptuously dismiss every new invention, from the wheel to the fork to the toilet to the Walkman.
Method Studios provided on-set VFX supervision as well as some set and environment enhancement which the historic versions Larry inhabit, while making their blazingly wrong declarations throughout the centuries.
“Don’t Miss Out” was highlighted as one of the “best 2022 Super Bowl commercials” by Good Morning America and the Today show, among many others.
