Description
Mid & Senior level Nuke Compositors
The key role of the compositor is to seamlessly integrate live-action, computer generated 3D and digital matte painting elements to create the finished shot. All candidates must be able to demonstrate prior experience working on high-end VFX projects with the submission of a show reel and detailed shot breakdown.
Requirements:
- Advanced working knowledge of Nuke
- Knowledge of Nuke X plug-ins (Furnace, camera tracker and lens distortion tools)
- At least 4+ years industry experience as a shot finishing compositor, preferably within a feature film VFX environment
- (In addition to Nuke, extensive experience using other node-based compositing systems such as Shake and Fusion may also be considered)
- Solid fundamental compositing skills including keying, tracking, roto, and paint
- Possess excellent technical and artistic communication skills as well as an excellent eye for detail
- Strong composition, light and colour skills are essential
- A good understanding of stereoscopic compositing and workflows is beneficial
- Knowledge of 3D applications such as Maya, and camera projection techniques a plus
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of visual effects pipelines, production and implementation is key, as well as the ability to work well in a team
