We were overjoyed to discover that our Chevy spot was picked as the winner in the commercial compositing category and Benjamin Walsh, Dominik Bauch and Nicolas took to the stage to pick up the trophy. This epic spot aired during the 2012 Super Bowl and Method were brought on board to realise the desolate landscapes, complete with a flying saucer, giant robot, volcano and toads raining from the sky.
Jeffrey A. Okun, Chair of the Visual Effects Society, commented, “Over eleven years, our awards show has developed into a truly special event. Each year, we put a spotlight on artists' achievements in visual effects and we thank everyone who came together tonight to honor the artistry of all of our winners and nominees.”
