Method Studios expands Beauty and Finishing team in New YorkMay 13, 2014

We are excited to share the news that visual effects projects by our Beauty & Finishing crew in New York have made the shortlist in the inaugural 2014 CLIO Image Awards - the new global awards program honoring creative excellence in fashion, beauty and accessories. The three pieces making the cut in the Video/Film category are for the short film 'Provocations' and the commercial 'Endless Euphoria' for Calvin Klein, and short film 'L'Invitation Au Voyage' for Louis Vuitton. The projects were supervised by our Creative Director Randie Swanberg and Executive Producer Angela Lupo, with color completed by Tim Masick of Company 3. The agencies on the Calvin Klein projects were CRK Advertising and Baron & Baron, headed by prominent creative executive Fabien Baron; the agency on the Louis Vuitton film was VLM and the production company was The Collective Shift.
 
Method's recently expanded team of artists in New York has resulted from the combination of Company 3 Beauty, whose credits include the 2013 Calvin Klein men’s underwear Super Bowl ad as well as campaigns for Avon, Dior, Michael Kors, Pantene, Revlon and others; and the Method Studios VFX Finishing department.

"Five years ago, Company 3 saw an opportunity to create a go-to beauty VFX shop that New York was desperately lacking," says Randie. "Within our first year we had added top-flight talent, quadrupled in size and established ourselves as the premier local post-production house for this industry category which is so essential to New York City. Method had all the infrastructure in place to help streamline the growing demand for effects work and re-branding the combined group as Method Beauty & Finishing is an important step in our ongoing growth and service to the beauty, fashion and retail industries."
